Dining with the Delegates

Join us for an evening candlelight dinner on Saturday May 1st from 5 to 9 pm for Dining with the Delegates. Period music, candlelit tables, Sam Houston and other Convention Delegates will be joining you on the lawn of Independence Hall “Where Texas Became Texas.” Feast on a 5 -course meal of scotch egg, fried catfish, black eyed peas, roasted potatoes, homemade bread and dewberry cobbler. Each course will be served with a Mead Pairings from Wildflyer Mead Company. Hand rolled cigar demo from Highlander Cigars and each ticket sold will include an assorted Robusto size cigar. In addition, Wet plate photography sessions will be available for $60.00 each from Cody Mobley Ambrotypes. The 30 minute sessions include 1-4.25″x5. 5″ per couple. Photo-sessions can be purchased here. Space is limited and sessions are weather dependent. Once you have purchased a photography session, an email will be sent to you to schedule a time.
