Living History Saturday: Delegate Election

Travel back in time to where a nation was born in 1836. On the third Saturday of each month, staff and volunteers dressed in period clothing bring to life the people and events of Old Washington. The program features activities suited for the entire family. The Convention of 1836 was held in March of 1836, but in order to attend, you had to be duly elected. Come vote to send the delegates of your choice to the Convention! Choose from and learn about actual people who were candidates from the Washington Municipality. After making an informed decision, cast your vote in a replica 1830s ballot box! The votes will be counted at the end of the day and the results will be shared to social media and compared to the results of the actual election. We need your vote, so come out an participate!
