Celebrate Texas Independence at "Independence Eve"

Visitors are invited to bring their dog (on a leash) to the second annual admission-free event for dogs and their owners of all ages. Adoptable dogs will be onsite. Entertainment and activities include canine police demos, pet training, historical talks, kiddy pools, pet portraits, contests, vendors selling dog themed products, music, food and much more.

10:30 am: Search and Rescue K9 Demonstration
11:00 am: Drug Sniffing K9 Demonstration
11:30 am: Talk by Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and  Biomedical Sciences
12:00 am: THC led talk by Laura Fisher on the Carolina Dingo
12:15 pm: Training Demo by Buddy’s Place
12:30 pm: THC led talk by Adam Arnold on the Yellow/Black Mouth Cur
12:45 pm: THC led talk by Nathan Giles on the Blue Lacy Dog
1:00 pm: Search and Rescue K9  Demonstration
1:30 pm: Training Demonstration by Sit Means Sit
