Color to Dye For

In the 1850s brightly colored and patterned cloth was imported from the mills of England and New England but time in the Texas sun would take its toll. Discover how the Jones family and those enslaved at Barrington could easily refresh their faded clothing using dyes made with natural items from near and far. Demonstrations ongoing.
