Corn Off the Cob

08/31/2019 - 09/01/2019, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

The ears of corn have dried in the summer sun and been gathered to the corn crib. Now it’s time to husk the ears and shell the kernels off the cobb using our 19th century original crank corn sheller. Come help us prepare our valuable crop for the gristmill. Race a friend to see who can husk an ear the fastest, and then take a turn cranking the sheller. This is a special focus weekend at the farm.
