Ring in the holidays at the Birthplace of Texas!
Join us by the fire in Lott’s Tavern as we celebrate the Christmas Season with readings from Charles Dickens and the making of historic seasonal food and drink recipes.
The holiday fun continues at Independence Hall where we will set up a Christmas Post Office. Families can come and write letters to family, loved ones, or even Santa. We’ll teach you how to write, fold, and seal letters just like they did when Henry Fanthorp was the postmaster at the Fanthorp Inn.
