“Washington in the Runaway Scrape” 10a-4p: In late March of 1836, the civilian population of Texas took to the roads fleeing the oncoming Mexican Army. Washington and its ferry played a vital role in helping people cross over the Brazos River. Join us to learn what people carried with them, and what they were feeling as the fled in the Runaway Scrape through Washington.
