Sundown Social

Washington on the Brazos Historical Foundation invites you to join us as we celebrate “Written in the Stars-the Future of Texas” at our annual fundraiser, the Sundown Social, set for April 25, 2026. We will be saluting Texas Historical Commission Chairman John L. Nau, III and Senator Lois Kolkhorst for their stalwart efforts in honoring 190 years of Texas Independence at the place Where Texas Became Texas, spearheading the redevelopment project which added the Washington Townsite Experience and a completely renovated Star of the Republic Museum.
