Sundown Social Auction: Tall Ship Elissa
Elissa is a three-masted, iron-hulled sailing ship built in 1877 in Scotland. She measures 205 feet long, 99 feet high and, at 135 years old, she is not a replica – she is a survivor. Read her incredible story in the book “Elissa”. The knife was handcrafted by Percy Richardson, using teak from the deck of Elissa and steel from 1877 iron hull plating. Beautifully shadowboxed, this knife will be a special treasure for generations.
A visit to Galveston includes two (2) admission tickets to visit The Elissa, Bishop’s Palace, a Galveston Harbor Tour aboard Seagull II and the Pier 21 Theater featuring The Great Storm and The Pirate Island of Jean Lafitte Galveston.
